Forest Eye Nigeria Ltd has congratulated Prof. Ahmed Audi on his reappointment as Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), describing the move as a strong vote of confidence in tested leadership and a boost to Nigeria’s national security architecture.
In a press statement, the company also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the reappointment, noting that it aligns with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at strengthening security and restoring public trust.
The Chief Executive Officer and Senior Consultant of Forest Eye Nigeria Ltd, Prof. Katuka Yaki, praised Prof. Audi’s leadership style, discipline, and commitment to safeguarding lives and critical national assets.
“Prof. Audi has demonstrated professionalism, courage, and consistency in leadership. His reappointment sends a clear message that competence and dedication still matter in securing our nation,” Prof. Yaki said.
Forest Eye Nigeria called on other security agencies to emulate Prof. Audi’s people-centered and intelligence-driven approach, stressing that effective leadership remains central to tackling Nigeria’s security challenges.
The company further urged religious leaders, politicians, and community stakeholders to actively support the NSCDC and other security agencies, emphasizing that national security is a shared responsibility.
“Security cannot be left to government alone. Communities, faith leaders, and political actors must work hand in hand with security agencies to build a safer Nigeria,” the statement said.
Forest Eye Nigeria also appealed to the Federal Government to strengthen protections for whistleblowers and traditional rulers, noting that grassroots intelligence plays a critical role in crime prevention and national stability.
“Those who risk their lives to expose crime and support security agencies deserve protection and recognition, not intimidation,” Prof. Yaki added.
Additionally, the organization cautioned Nigerians to remain mindful of religious balance in leadership appointments, particularly at the level of the Vice Presidency, warning that perceived imbalance could pose risks to national cohesion and security.
“Nigeria’s diversity must be managed with wisdom. Inclusive leadership is not just a political issue; it is a national security imperative,” the statement stressed.
Forest Eye Nigeria concluded by reaffirming its commitment to partnering with stakeholders to advance peace, unity, and the Renewed Hope Agenda.
